Sandra Teplinsky is cofounding director, together with her husband Kerry, of Light of Zion Ministries. From an Orthodox Jewish background, Sandy came to faith in Jesus (Yeshua) at the University of Illinois, where she obtained her B.A. She earned her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, and obtained seminary training at Talbot Seminary in Los Angeles.
A former litigation attorney, Sandy is now an author and ordained minister. She has been involved with the Messianic movement since 1980. Her passion is to see God's saving and transforming power released on Israel and the Church. Her biblical teaching and pastoral ministry releases a distinctly prophetic, Messiah-centered, Jewish reality to the Word of God, imparting His love in the power of the Spirit.
Based in Jerusalem, Sandy speaks internationally on God's heart and prophetic plans for Israel and the Church. She mobilizes intercessory prayer for Israel both within Israel as well as in the nations. She also served in outreach missions to the former Soviet Union, witnessing the unprecedented Russian Jewish revival of the 1990's.
Sandy's books include Why Care about Israel? How the Jewish Nation is Key to Unleashing God's Blessings in the 21st Century, published by Chosen Books; Israel's Anointing: Your Inheritance and End-Times Destiny through Israel, published by Chosen Books; The Blessing of Israel; and Out of the Darkness: The Untold Story of Jewish Revival in the Former Soviet Union.
Sandy loves long walks or horseback rides in the woods, mountains, along the beach, or anywhere else the beauty of God's creation declares His majesty. She's also an incurable animal lover. But her greatest gift from God is her amazing husband Kerry.
